Would you prefer not to be in the shop all day? Do you have experience working on vocational equipment & trucks? SA Industries is looking for a highly professional Mobile Service Truck Mechanic.
Must have proficiency in hydraulics/hose making and diesel engines.
Duties:
- Repair and maintain customer vehicles and equipment.
- Diagnose faults or malfunctions of vehicle or equipment.
- Travel between customer yards and service calls, roadside repairs.
- Follow our standard work order process and procedures ensuring detailed, accurate and timely records.
- Complete timely and quality repairs resulting in customer satisfaction.
- Contribute to the maintenance of a clean and safe work environment.
- Responsible for company vehicle, tools, and ensuring equipment is well maintained.
- Adhere to company safety policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Experience with truck diagnostic analysis and resolution using OEM and/or other diagnostic tools.
- Detailed workmanship by following safety standards and guidelines.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions.
- Perform preventative and routine maintenance services and inspections.
- Valid provincial driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract.
- Valid Trade Certification (Red Seal preferred, will consider qualified Apprentice).
Salary:
Commensurate on experience.

S.A. Industries Auto & Truck Repair is looking for experienced body techs. We do everything from minor repairs to full restorations on vintage vehicles.
Duties:
- Review damage report and estimates of repair cost and plan work to be performed
- Repair and replace front end components, body components, doors and frame and underbody components
- Hammer out dents, buckles and other defects using blocks and hammers
- Operate welding equipment or use filler to fill metal or plastic holes, dents and seams
- Remove damaged fenders, panels and grills
- Bolt or weld replacement parts into place
- File, grind and sand repaired body surfaces using hand and power tools
- Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting
- Mix paint, blend and match colours
- Apply primers and repaint surfaces using spray guns
Experience Required:
- Filler work
- Gapping body panels
- Straightening and shaping
- Painting
- Mixing paint
- Welding
- Blow Torch
- General working knowledge of common automotive mechanics
Salary:
Commensurate on experience
$18.50 - $37.50/hr

Industries offers maintenance and mechanical services on passenger vehicles, vocational trucks and equipment. We are seeking a professional, friendly, skilled Service Advisor to add to our team.
Duties:
- Accurately identifying and verifying a customer’s needs, and providing professional, courteous, and positive customer service.
- Ascertains automotive problems and services by listening to customer's description of symptoms; clarifying description of problems.
- Develops estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor.
- Maintains customer rapport by explaining estimates and expected return of vehicle; obtaining customer's approval of estimates; obtaining and providing contact telephone numbers; answering questions and concerns.
- Order necessary parts from suppliers and double-check that they are delivered to technicians.
- Ensure that automotive work provided to customers meets company quality standards.
- Invoice and collect payment from customers for services rendered.
- Maintain customer records and enter data into computer databases.
- Maintain records of purchases and incoming payments (Quickbooks knowledge is an asset).
Required Skills:
- Working knowledge and experience of automotive products, repairs and parts.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to translate customer needs to workable technician orders.
- Strong customer service and outgoing demeanor.
- Basic knowledge of computer programs including calendars, word processing and database tools (Quickbooks knowledge is a definite asset).
- Organizational skills including the ability to schedule appointments, enter purchases/sales in a timely manner, and ensure that work is done properly.
- Exceptional customer service skills based on experience.
- Ability to communicate complicated automotive processes to customers who may only have basic automotive knowledge.
